Amazon Journeys partners with Conservación Amazónica – ACCA, a Peruvian nonprofit organization dedicated to science and conservation.

Since 2017, we have welcomed travelers to a network of three lodges/biological stations located in some of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth that stretch from the cloud forests of the eastern Andes down to the Amazonian lowlands.

Through Amazon Journeys, visitors can explore these extraordinary landscapes and gain insight into cutting-edge biodiversity research and conservation efforts happening on the ground.

Who We Are

What makes Amazon Journeys different from traditional Amazon lodges?

We operate in some of the most biodiverse places on Earth, where researchers and students study forest dynamics, discover new species, track wildlife such as Andean bears and jaguars, and monitor how nature responds to climate change.

Guests stay in active biological stations, experiencing spectacular landscapes while sharing them with scientists at the forefront of tropical conservation.

Our Mission

Our mission is to connect people with the Amazon while supporting the conservation of its forests, wildlife, and cultures.

Through our conservation programs and biological stations, we advance scientific research, protect biodiversity, and work alongside local communities to promote sustainable livelihoods that help preserve the region’s ecosystems.

Tourism plays an important role in sustaining these efforts by helping maintain conservation initiatives, environmental education, research programs, and long-term partnerships with local communities across the Andean Amazon.
